The wards of the Downside Up and The Syndrome of Love charitable foundations will take to the field together with professional football players. The tournament will be attended by four teams from Moscow and other regions of Russia, which will include world football stars and children with Down syndrome. In addition to games, there will be master classes, photo and autograph sessions with football legends.
Football is more than just a game for a person with Down Syndrome. This is a way to learn how to control their body, interact with others, be collected and attentive. The children find new friends, learn to work in a team, take the initiative, and prepare for an independent life in society on the football field. Football tournaments, especially interaction with professional players, are a great way to rehabilitate, socialize children with an extra chromosome and draw attention to the issues and features of people with Down syndrome.
"Our Future", the format of the tournament for young football players, is aimed at maintaining the connection between the younger generation and the generation of football players who brought glory to national football, as well as promoting a healthy lifestyle, instilling love for football by the personal example of outstanding football players.
